I'm surprised OMMM skk aren't married! Is there any lore behind the social structure of marriage vs mates in a/b/o or in OMMM omegaverse? Like is mating seen as equivalent to marriage? Also can betas have mating bonds like bite an omega and bond to them or get bitten by an alpha ?
I just explained why in my previous answer! But no, there isn't any particular structure for that. Mating is being connected with another person physically, and it does create a much stronger bond (in fact, that's what it's called). For me, mates do register their bond because of medical records, so there is trace of that when consensual. But marriage makes it legal and official on a financial level, mostly, almost in my universe.
Betas can be bitten into a bond, still in my universe, but it's more symbolic than factual, as beta's biology doesn't react to alphas how omegas do. And omega's bites have no effect whatsoever on anyone - in fact, that especially is symbolic between mates because it leaves a mark, a scar, but it's not necessary for the bond in the general omegaverse.

Well, they HAD it in mind! They waited for baby Masaki to be easier to handle and then started planning but, at the same time, did not stop trying to have another kid because they thought it would take time. Instead, the twins came quite sooner than they expected, and Chuuya's pregnancy wasn't easy enough to think about marrying during that, and then the twins were born and Shuuji happened so... nope, they didn't make it there yet :(

Can you provide a brief description of OMMM skk's kids? Are they all gingers ?
Masaki is a carbon copy of Chuuya, red hair and blue eyes. But he has Dazai's lips and body structure.
The twins have chocolate hair going for dark red, Dazai's eyes, and seem to be as minute as Chuuya as they're growing slowly! Yuta is a little bigger than Shuuji because of his birth issues, and has more freckles.

I know they are sweet kids but I can't help but see them as little demons 😭 it's not their fault obviously but they really put a strain on Dazai and Chuuya's marriage
Honestly? Same. I really don't know where this much love and family-vibe comes from for me because I don't wish at all to have kids, but neither a life partner because I'm too independent lmao or maybe I'm projecting and I need to discuss this with my therapist lol
(P.s. they didn't marry yet :P)

Dazai is terrified they'll turn alpha, and Chuuya is terrified they'll turn omega since they're all boys

Maybe I’m being dramatic, and maybe it’d be kind of out of character for him, but I need Chuuya to pull a Bella Swan and become a bit reckless and depressed and lowkey suicidal when Dazai leaves him behind and pushes him away “to protect him”. I need Dazai to see what he’s doing to him and regret his actions, not just because he misses having him in his life, but because of what his schemes caused. I know it’s kinda toxic maybe, but what can I say
originally, that was what I imagined at the very early stages, but then I decided to make it a little less dramatic because the drama that comes after is even worse cough but let's keep in mind that Dazai is 100% convinced of what he's doing and he has no intention on going back on his words because what he's doing is unforgivable (at least from his point of view). I can't say more not to make too much spoiler!

I don't read that many, 'cause I don't have that much time, but Painter of the Night is 100% my favorite, the art is gorgeous and I will never stop melting for them. I really like Can't Think Straight / Crossing the line - it's called with different names somehow. But I go with the classics like Semantic Error. One I really like is The Ghost's Nocturne and a special mention to Missing Love: A married man - still unfinished, it's toxic, dark, sick and pretty heavy tho if you haven't read it. If you have more to recommend please do!
