Regarding Herta x Dr. Ratio, I don't have much thoughts about them atm, mostly because I've been waiting for some more Herta content since launch 🤔 I do think a part of him would be very fond of her, and despite finding many of her antics a bit annoying, he wouldn't mind too much. Herta, on the other hand, would probably not care about him at all at first, and call him just Veritas the moment she finds herself forced to bring him up, half because she doesn't care about remembering his full name and half because she might enjoy pushing his buttons...
I also have fun thinking Veritas would just carry her around whenever he needs her, like sometimes he's going from point A to point B with a few books under one arm and a doll under the other... He would also put her on his statues when she's not there or when she's bossing him around, he would hate it but she would be the kind of person to ask him to put her up so she can face him while calling him stupid (and after a while, you hear a loud crash and it's Herta who got bored and just jumped down the statue, breaking it in the process, and going elsewhere lmao). SORRY tho I don't have much romantic headcanons for them as of now. I like to think he might try to study how to do some basic maintenance on her dolls when needed, and just study what she did in her life in general. And while it doesn't align with his own beliefs, Herta's discoveries existing because she simply refuses to fall into boredom would touch a very private and sensitive spot next to his heart, I'm sure of that.
