Hey! Just wanted to double check, does the application saying app pieces need to align with zine content mean we can't use nsfw samples? Every project seems to have different places where they draw that line so I wasn't sure what would be allowed
In general, we're trying to encourage a relatively similar content-level to the game itself, without getting into extremely Explicit/NSFW content. We've loosely defined this as 'Artistic Nudity, Canon Typical-Violence, and Sensual Content'. So as an example, blood would be fine, but extreme gore would not fit within those parameters. In terms of application submissions, if you are particularly concerned about something, feel free to include a content warning with that sample. Even if it ends up being a bit outside of the realm of what we would allow for the zine, we would not hold it against your overall application. We hope that helps, and appreciate you asking!
Will you be inviting guests for this project?
Yes!
Who is the mod team made up of? Or will there be mod apps?
The mod team is made up of four very dedicated and highly-motivated fans. All four mods are being revealed this week, with the first scheduled for tomorrow! At this time, we are not planning to open mod applications.
Excited for this! Question: Will you be accepting art/works for Tavs/Durge/OCs or is this to focus on NPC/Origin characters only? Cheers!
We're excited too! OCs/Tavs/Durges are definitely allowed, however the focus of the zine is on the canon female characters of the game, so all works must focus primarily on them.
Will this zine be inclusive of trans & nonbinary interpretations of BG3 characters (i.e. trans Shadowheart, enby Karlach, ect)?
Absolutely! Our mod team is primarily trans/nonbinary, and entirely queer. As such, we are very much in favor of participants exploring interpretations of the characters that are most meaningful to them.
Hi, just wanted to say I'm so excited for this!
Hi! We're so happy to hear that!
