Nowadays Naru carries the Elidibus soulstone and her scythe on her at all times. The scythe was a gift from Elidibus at the end of Pandaemonium--the real Themis back in time, not Athena's Themis. The scythe belonged to Erasmia, and she was the one who crafted it. It functions as a weapon and a massive aether reservoir, due to the way Erasmia crafts weapons. This is great for Naru, meaning she can charge up her lattacks with light aether easier :3c The scythe is convenient and actually makes Naru feel a little conflicted, since she knows it belonged to Azem, and she has some identity issues regarding that... but the stone is as a memento of Elidibus

I think this is a really complicated question. I think it was really nice for her to see him so happy, so free of worry and stress. But also kind of terrible to know what kind of things would happen to him.

At this point she missed him so much that she so desperately wanted to just tell him who she was, but she knew that wouldn't really go anywhere. I think she would have been delighted to find that parts of Themis shone through in her relationship with Elidibus.

Elidibus in her time (in my canon) struggled a lot with his identity and having a sense of self and slowly kind of pieced himself together during their relationship.. and I think she was happy to see that those moments were REALLY his identity as a person coming back to him :) as Themis reminds her of him

It certainly did do some damage to see him again, though ! ;_;

This is so weird but. I started rping with someone and we were doing a two-wol kind of situation and at the time I shipped Naru with emet selch. But I always kinda felt like the story I was writing for Naru wasn't matching up well with Emet?

So in the to the other person wanted me to write emet selch for their ship and I said sure, so we did a little bit of trying out different characters for Naru. First was urianger ??? Idk why. I think it's just BC I love him. But anyways. From out of no where we ended up stringing along a plot that Elidibus shows up in the story earlier and has memories triggered by Naru's presence and they ended up falling in love but were constantly struck by tragedy and kept away from each other

And then I ended up working on it alone and thinking harder about Elidibus and the themes I wanted for Naru's story! Stuff changed. Elidibus doesn't "remember" Azem, and their story is definitely tragic but not like that rp has been..but it was the first gateway into thinking about elidibus so much and then I realized how perfect he was for the story and theme I wanted to tell with Naru's journey!!

And also, I did always love Elidibus. Before I started working on Naru lore, I actually entered one of those ffxiv art contests and i submitted a piece about 5.3 as my favorite moment in the game. But that rp helped me put together the dots !
