Hi, I was just popping in wondering if we could have a little update on everything. Of course, I know schedule is only an idea, since issues can arise at times, it's just been a little while since we last heard how things were going. Hoping everything is going fine though, both for the production and everyone involved in the zine.

please excuse the late reply.
Our Layout Mod Emily is experiencing some IRL difficulties and and has not been able to dedicate as much time to the zine as needed, which is why we are a bit behind on the production of the physical zine booklet.
We do have a final version ready for printing now & will begin the sample ordering process ASAP and update on all developments via social media as usual 💕
We also want to apologize, in between things we definitely forgot to reflect these delays in our schedule and we will do that ASAP—we're really sorry if this has caused any concerns or fears, we promise we are working on this zine to the best of our abilities.

Hello! I want to purchase the digital SFW/NSFW zines. I see that the bundles are available to order until the 26th, but will the digital versions still be available to purchase after that date?

Thank you for your interest in our zine and please excuse the late reply, the Mods wanted to discuss this first.
The PDF will still be available for some time after the 26th, but we are still undecided for how long exactly.
PDF orders placed after the end of physical Pre-Orders will also no longer count towards the stretch goals.
So if you want to be 100% sure that you get the PDF & if you want to do something nice for the people who ordered physical bundles, we recommend that you order our bundle of choice before the end of our official pre-order period (11:59pm EST on Feb. 26th).
The next guaranteed chance to get the PDF, will be together with physical leftovers towards the end of the year (estimated August/September).

Hi there, I hope this is not a stupid question, but could it be that your countdowns are off?
Maybe I just converted the time zones wrong or am too stupid to do 1+1 but you are Cali time, right, so shouldn't the 5 day countdown be on Thursday, not today?
I'm really sorry about all of this, I am just really confused right now (I already bought my bundle, thank you so much for amazing effort you are putting into everything) but I am hoping the stretch goals and 2 1/2 days is kind of a big difference 😭🙏🏼

OUR pre-orders will close Monday, February 26th, at 11:59pm EST, as is stated on our PO post and the countdown graphics 💕
(And we are on a good way to reaching our 3rd stretch goal 😉~)

This zine looks so good! I really want to get a copy but I’m seeing that ‘anything goes’ re ships. Will this zine include incest?
Hello and thank you for your interest in our project 💕
Our main, physical SFW zine (also available as PDF) does not include any romantic or sexual ships at all, only platonic and familial situations.
Our digital, NSFW zine on the other hand does include a number of PlantCest (Knives/Vash) pieces, but also a variety of other ships (Preliminary count is 4 PlantCest works—3 art, 1 writing—out of 21 total right now).

Can someone contribute to both the Sfw and NSFW zones? Or is everyone limited to only working on one?
Hi there :)
Artists are required to create 2 pieces for the zine. The first piece should be for the part of the zine that you were accepted into and should be your focus. However, you are free to pitch your 2nd piece for the other part of the zine if you like, or help out with merch or spot art ~
Writers may also create a second piece once they have completely finished their first fic. Here, we are a bit more limited by the page count - generally an additional NSFW fic should be possible, however how many additional SFW fics we can fit will have to be seen. But you are always welcome to reach out to the mods once your first fic is completed :)

Hi, we are very sorry for the lack of update.
Two of our mods have been incapacitated first by technical difficulties and now by health issues and we want to at least give them the chance to give their input to apps which is why we have delayed this long.
That being said, we still aim to make our decision on contributors by the end of day, but please be aware that depending on your time zone it may be a few hours later.
We also received roughly 150 apps, many of which are for multiple positions, so we will likely have to space out the responses in order to avoid G-Mail flagging them as Spam, so we have to ask for a little bit more patience - depending on which role(s) you applied for your mail will come faster or later.
We are also revisiting our schedule to reflect this delay, so if you are accepted no worries about pitch submissions!
Sorry again, we hope that you can have some understanding for the situation and thank you for all your patience <3

Can you give more info on what you mean by “musical themes?”
Hello!
We're assuming that you are referring to the theme of the zine itself. Here, "muscial themes" can be almost everything that relates to music.
It can be characters making/experiencing music in a canon environment, it can be a music related AU such as idols or band AU, it can be a character study what a character associates with music, a piece inspired by lyrics or something completely different, as long as there is a connection/reference to music somewhere in the piece.
We hope this answers your question and thank you for bringing it to our attention, that this wasn't explained in our carrd so far - we will make sure to add that information.

How are guests being decided?
Hey there and thanks for the good question.
Guests were picked from a pool of suggestions submitted by our followers through the Interest Check form.
For guest selection we looked mostly at creativity, style and whether or not people were active in the Trigun fandom/had Trigun specific pieces published at the time.

In general, if you notice any error in your application, just visit the link again and submit a whole new application.
Once apps close, we will check the responses and in case of doubles, only consider the newest submission ;)
If you want to make extra sure, you can also DM us on Twitter or IG with your e-mail that you used to apply and we'll make sure to make a note right away!

For writers apps, does this mean you require one completed fic that's max 3k words? Cuz my shortest one-shot is 3.5k ;w;
Hello! Yes, you are required to have one completed fic under 3k words as part of your samples. This is due to the page limitation in a physical zine book. Hope this helps!

Hi Anon,
we're assuming that you are referring to Plantcest (Vash x Knives) with this question which is often considered incest.
This ship is included in "everything goes" in the NSFW side-zine as long as it does not delve into any of the explicitly banned topics outlined in our Carrd.
We hope tahat answers your question and if you're question was related to a different ship or dynamic, let us know and we will look into it :)
