responded to this late and i figured i should do it now cause it's oridivi day but i had this question a lot on my mind so to answer this, there's a buncha things that i love about both oridivi -- the entire cast and dotonbori divers especially. im personally the type to be more drawn to characters people don't usually give too much mind about or care at all so hypstage really speaks to me differently.

i'm not entirely happy with how oridivi's fate went (and believe me, i grieved) but i think it helps that with how little content we have that we're given this sandbox of ideas and headcanons that we can simply just make as our "canon" and i think that's cool to me (as weird as it sounds, that's how i choose to see it) -- oridivi's concepts for what it's worth have pretty interesting concepts and gimmicks that when meshed with the main cast makes it pretty exciting to watch how these one time characters interact with the storyline. i find myself falling in love with the main characters in that track even more and grow to appreciate how the oridivs of that track assist that but them seperately, i just really like playing around with ideas of 'what would've' and 'what could've' .

for doutonbori divers, it's essentially their cheesy lil gimmick -- preppy young boys with a shared goal of making it to the top all while swearing to themselves that they'll always be best friends no matter what happens. im personally a sucker for that kinda trope and maybe that's what got me so hook into franchises like twst too in a way. i envy their friendship and seeing them makes me so unbelievably happy that it makes me cry. the start, the conflict, the resolution of track 3 absolutely kills me and it'll stand as one of my favourite tracks of hypstage of all time with especially how it made me love DH and BAT. the parallels i caught with them made me really giddy too .. rotating them in my mind. it's a shame that they aren't that loved but that's why i want to be that person who makes content for them. if not to make more people fall in love with them, at least like or acknowledge them enough that they matter in the cast too. :)
