are there any specific dimension requirements for the zine art?
Hello, for the zine art the requirements are as follows :
Horizontal or vertical, it is up to you and whatever you prefer for your illustration/concept art.
At least 2000x2000px and maximum of 6000x6000px.
The page ratio is up to you but the canvas height/width should not go above or below of the suggested sizes (i.e you can do a 4000x3000px canvas)
The merch dimensions are different depending on what you'll do - and all dimensions and specifics are listed in our discord server that opens once we have sent out all the emails :)

Thank you for showing interest in the zine! I would recommend at least 1 piece of art that is League of Legends related to have in your portfolio - even if it just a skin theme that you are using for your own character.

Hi! Yes we will accept Soul Fighter as a skin theme applied to an OC as it is still League of Legends related!

hi! im aware that the zine is digital, but i just wanna confirm if it's ok for us to print a physical copy for ourselves?

We had set out this zine to be digital, and we have to respect our artists so unfortunately I am unable to answer this question on their behalf. There might be plans later on to allow an option for artists to agree for their work to be printed for personal use only.

Hello,
Kayn and Rhaast are separate, shadow Kayn is optional for now. However depending on the amount of people that prefer to create a concept for him, we may allow shadow Kayn as a main option.

Hello! I'm a big fan of league and star guardians, but the only thing I have to cover the league part on the portfolio is a version of myself as a star guardian I did for a college art project, could that count? I'm really interested on joining the zine!

That sounds lovely! Yes if you have drawn anything that is League of Legends related it will count for the entry in your portfolio, even if it is an OC/yourself in a Star Guardian version!

Of course! You may apply to contribute merch for the zine on the artist application, once it comes out. Depending on how many people would like to contribute merch, we may not ask everyone who applies to actually create merch, but please apply if you are interested!

Hi! We accept the following designs : Star Guardian, Star Nemesis, Corrupted Star Guardian, Monstrous, SG familiars.
Pajama Guardian or a redesigned version of an existing Star Guardian can be done after completion of any of the above!

"Is shaco considered a monster champ? A human take on him would be interesting."
We do not see him as a monster, he is more of a puppet turned human/demon! You may design him as a human but do keep in mind he must still be identifiable as Shaco!

Hey I'm really interested in the zine and I wanted so so much to draw a concept for Thresh (Corrupted, or Nemesis, not sure yet) But i was thinking in do it a more human like design (The original Thresh is a humanish/demon thing... but he have human like skins like spirit blossom and unbound)
Would it be okay? Or i must do him in his "skeleton" form ??

In regards to the Thresh design, you may design a more human like skin like Spirit Blossom or Unbound, ideally we would want you to stick to Thresh' original aesthetic as much as possible to keep it recognisable within the SG universe! If you are in doubt about your design, you can always ask our mods!
