Sephiroth and Cloud student/teacher student/professor AU

I WROTE IT UP!!! Thank you so much anon for the prompt. I have posted the full story to AO3, but here's a lil preview...⤵️ ⤵️ ⤵️

“Mr. Strife, you do realize Shinra Academy has a strict policy on academic dishonesty?” Doctor Crescent was staring him down, his cyan eyes seeming to look directly inside his soul despite the thin pair of black, slightly tinted classes covering them.

“Y-Yes, sir.”

“And you realize the consequences a mark on your permanent record, and an automatic score of 0 on the assignment?”

Cloud’s eyes went open. His mid-term was worth 25% of his final grade…

“Which due to your rather poor marks in my class would mean failing my course and therefore jeopardizing your ability to graduate with your peers?”

Cloud stared at the floor, barely holding back tears as his heart pumped out of his chest. He had really fucked up.

“I-I’m s-sorry, sir, I-”

“I don’t care to hear your excuses, Mr. Strife,” Doctor Crescent spat, smacking his hand down on the hard black surface of the counter, making Cloud jump a bit. His professor’s face held a quiet rage which scared him even more on top of the fear of his future being completely destroyed.

“S-Sir, I-I have to graduate! I a-applied to the University of M-Midgar-” he cried out before his professor cut him off.

“You know I received my degrees from the University of Midgar, yes? I am also a member of their young alumni board. I would hate to have to report your actions to the admissions team, especially since admissions results are due very soon.”

Tears started falling down Cloud’s face. He felt his entire world crumbling before his eyes. He was going to fail his class, which meant not being able to graduate, which meant between that and the mark on his record, he was not going to get into the University of Midgar. He’d have to back home to his poor mother who was so excited to finally have someone in the family get into university.

All because of a stupid class he had to take as part of his diploma requirements with a hot, sadistic teacher.

“However,” Cloud looked up at Dr. Crescent while he removed his glasses and set them down on the counter.

“Yes, sir?”

“Mr. Strife,” Dr. Crescent let down his hair. It was the first time Cloud had seen his professor with his hair down. It went well down his back. It looked long and luscious.

Dr. Crescent leaned well over the counter, extending his long, pale arms to rest on top of it.

“Mr. Strife, how do you feel about men?”

Cloud tilted his head in confusion.

“Uhh… like, what do you mean?”

Dr. Crescent appeared to be biting his lip, stifling his laughter. Their eyes met, and Cloud saw something he hadn’t before in his professor's eyes.

Oh. OH.
