I can't help but imagine poor cherry being extremely confused and distressed the first time he feels the symptoms of his heat...
My poor baby wouldn't know anything and he'd be stuck not knowing what to do even though he's burning up and there's a weird ache in him... He wouldn't even know what suppressants are because that's not something he was taught, and he didn't even know to search for it in the first place... because unfortunately, just as he was stereotyped because of his appearance due to archaic standards, the knowledge about dealing with heats is kept under wraps and not really spoken about :(((
Even worse is if he believes their words and thinks that he shouldn't be an omega at all... and now on top of not knowing what to do, he'd also feel so ashamed of himself for having a heat when he was supposed to be an alpha :(((((
He'd feel so guilty and he'd think that everyone would look at him differently now... and maybe his friends wouldn't want to hang out with him anymore or think there's something wrong with him...
Maybe he'd even go so far as to isolate himself and not ask for help in his heats and pretend that he was having ruts just so he won't disappoint everyone TT...
I assume that eventually he'd get found out and get help but before that, he'll suffer all alone in some motel, unable to have control over himself and being scared out of his mind because he's too vulnerable and he doesn't have anyone he can depend on :(((((((((((
