I remember fondly reading Ricky Ricotta’s Mighty Robot. It was made by the same guy who did Captain Underpants. I was huge space nut as a kid, and this book series helped satisfy that excitement. It featured a small mouse who would get a giant robot as a buddy and fight bad guys from various planets. Like mosquitoes from Mercy, Vultures from Venus, and so on. And the flip o rama’s are fun! Never thought I could see a book animated. I read up until Saturn, and I wondered when they make more. Turns out the author’s father was sick at the time, so the books were on hold. Surprised to see the book series are sorta still going on, albeit re-released in a new art style. It’s my nostalgia talking, but I prefer the old style. It felt so simple but cute. The new style is so…modern? Hard to say. One last thing to note, if the rumors goin around are true that a film adaptation is happening, you bet I’m gonna watch that shit!
My Goosebumps collection wins out easy
Red Pyramid. Written by the same guy behind Percy Jackson, instead of Greek mythos it focuses on Egyptian mythos, my favourite mythos.
I've only read it once, but oh man did I enjoy every word of it. I love Red Pyramid, and I wholeheartedly recommend anyone to read it if they get the chance to
