Can you tell us Willow and Douglas’ strongest personality traits?
I've been mulling over this for way too long anon, sorry for taking my time.
Questions like these are always hard because some character traits will only show themselves to me while I write them, or have more time to spend with them, so some of these things are more fluid.
Douglas has a charming personality, he knows how to work people. He can be aggressive but in a heated, temperamentful way. He is fiercely loyal but in comparison to Willow his loyalty lies with people, he's protective but can be very posessive.
Willow has never had the need to be charming or good with people. He is demanding the way spoiled children are. Most of his character is because of his upbringing though, so I know there will be changes when he gets out of his current setting. Willow is also loyal to a fault, to very few people but more to a cause, to an authority. He isn't as bad as he sounds here, I'm just really bad with giving people positive traits XD
Sorry for the rambling, I think I could've written 10k more words about them both though so I think I did a well enough job XD

Thank you so much!! I'm so sorry for getting to this so late! After Retrospring sent that message that they are closing down I completely forgot it existed.
I do have ref sheets for them, if you mean that. Their armor I designed myself. Especially Douglas' is very fantasy adjacent. Willows is inspired by a set of real life armor though, a riding armor from the local royal armory.

See, it's something I thought about? But it would probably depend on the budget. It's something that needs to be fair to both parties and designing a knight for something specifically sounds like a lot of fun but also like a time intensive process. We can talk about it if you want to hit me up.

I'll start this by saying I'm one of the kinkiest people I know- online and offline, and I'm very curious about you're knights! The way you draw and shade metal is sexy as hell I can see the appeal of the faceless anonymity as well as the armor so needless to say it makes a pretty picture. I was wondering if it's a personal fetish of yours or if it's just two characters that just so happen to be knights and also have sex? You certainly don't owe a random stranger on the internet an explanation and either way I love your art and I don't need to understand it to appreciate your beautiful work. Keep it up <3

So I'd call it more of a kink and not a fetish. The whole mask/helmet thing and anonymity appeal to me. But I love knights in general, the craftmanship of the armor, the designs etc.
But in addition, with knights there is a lot of tension and tropes if you put them in a setting, that I just like to play with when it comes to storytelling.
And well, yeah, they are also two characters who happen to be knights. I know I mostly post smut of them but there is a bigger story for them and I am infatuated with them. I have a ton of AUs where they are not knights and it still works, hahaha.
Honestly no idea if any of this makes sense XD

Do you have a favourite au of your boys?
That's a tough one, I have so many for them! I'm usually not the biggest AU person when it comes to fandoms, but for my boys apparently everything goes XD I am fond of the modern biker AU, bcs there's still helmets and violence involved. I also have a western/vampire AU for them that has been cooking in my brain that I am very fond of.

I absolutely love Willow and Douglas and was wondering if there is any chance we see more comic-ish stuff with them? donest have to be full-blown story-ish comics with a lot of chapters and stuff, just some short comics.

I really want to draw more comic stuff for them. Like, their meet cute is is already done up into thumbnails, I just need the time to work on it. But I was thinking of doing some shorter stuff for them, similar to that three page comic I posted a bit ago maybe. Comics are kind of my passion, I am just very slow when working on them sadly Q_Q

I know a king has been mentioned before in the blurbs for some of the Willow and Douglas art, do you have any lore on them and what their connection to the knight/s that serve them is like?
So this could turn into a long winded answer if I go into all the lore background so I'll keep it brief.
Willows father is pretty much the right hand of the king, so there is a connection between his family and the royal family. Although there is some physical distance between his familys place and the royal court, he has spent enough time there. This connection is not the reason for Willow ending up as part of the kings guard though, Willow is just very determined and diligent in his training. There's also something more there but I don't want to spoil that XD
First off, Douglas and Willow are not from the same country. But Douglas as a leading figure of his own country has connections and he is a charming man when he wants. He is good friends with the king of a neighboring country and was invited to the court for diplomatic reasons. The King warms up to him easily enough.

Oh yeah, I do draw them switching from time to time, but I know I could draw it more often. My inbox here is full with top Soap suggestions and they are all very good, I do want to get to them, which is why I have not replied to any of them yet. Because if the question leaves my inbox I will forget about it, thanks adhd XD I think I tend to go for more cruel tops right now, when I am left to my own devices. And Ghost just falls into that role easily, if that makes sense. Also last time I had a poll up for what to post and ppl voted for top Ghost, so it's partly twitters fault as well XD

Fandom Character is probably Ghost, bcs I don't have to draw his face for people to recognize him. My faces are not as strong as other artists are, I focus more on other parts of the body XD
Willow is my fave to draw in armor, Douglas is my fave to draw out of armor. He just has the belly and the tits and the jawline that is very self indulgent to draw. Not in a "it's my preference in people" way but in a "I do these lines automatically while drawing bcs I like their look" way. He's just very artistically self indulgent.

As somebody who has to go through the annoying habit of eating, I would be happy to take money to draw this XD If you have specifics you'd want, like if you want it colored, decide on the pose or what they are wearing etc the best way is to message me about a comm. Best way is Discord (same handle as on Twitter) or an email (can be found in my carrd).
If you don't care about the details (color, pose, etc) there is a request thread up on my Subscribestar where I pick one at random. Right now there is only one request in the thread bcs I just started the page so I don't have many subscribers. So you have a 50/50 chance of it getting picked! It's not a sure thing though and no promises on how it will turn out in the end. There is a request thread on Patreon but there are more entries there so the chances are way slimmer since I let a randomizer pick the request.
But yeah, as I always say, no pressure, I know times are tough. I can't afford comming ppl myself so I totally understand.
