what's your most ownable OC, which one gets owned the easiest? (bonus, best way to own them)
My most ownable oc is Theta (moth you may have seen before) in that they were intended as an antagonist but the stuff they did I already had covered by multiple other ocs so I thought it'd be funny if they kept getting owned while trying to ruin other people.
I dunno the preferred final state but hypno always good
All your OCs fight who wins
I answered the Battle Royale question already sorry https://retrospring.net/@CryptidStation/a/109520541612125977
Lynn is the only new oc since, she beats Dent, Loses to Tracy
Does the bubble dealio extend into like, rubber balloon? The sqrk sqrk?
Oh trust me I absolutely love balloons too (and inflatables,)
Theres some weird personal difference to them though? If that makes sense. Like the consistency/sounds/smell would be all different. Not to say I dislike any of those elements unique to balloons but I definitely have different moods for each.
tell us about Lynn - what's her deal, what's her story, what's she good at, what's she bad at, that stuff
I dont have much of a full background yet but her core details are: She loves fighting, is a warlock but mostly channels her spells through unarmed attacks. Fights with a lot of ice abilities.
Bad at, hm, probably anything mechanical. Which considering its a future-spacey setting could come up a lot.
what do you think is your like. most obscure weird interest. not even the weirdest, just the thing you see so little of you'd love to see more of
Oh that's so hard to pick. Probably bubble stuff - getting trapped in them, getting stuffed with them, using them as props for other stuff.
In second place is probably rubbery bondage but the bondage gear itself is alive in some way, either from a giant puffy inflatable costume stuffing someone inside themself and taking them along for the ride, or ghosts posessing straitjackets and muzzles and forcing someone into them to kidnap them, yknow.
is sending balloons off to the sky a purely religious aim for Eclipse, or is there a part of them that enjoys watching less-willing converts helplessly float off into the sky?
Oh they absolutely enjoy seeing people float off, panicking a bit to try and find something to grip on to before the pressure daze sits in, yes :3c
what's going on with Eclipse's belly?
It's the night sky! Part of the physical manifestation of the Cosmos mystery is that you can see a good view of the constellations in their gut (When their larger you can make it out better)
I like the idea that if theres significant internal activity it'll swirl around and work as a hypnosis aide
So, Eclipse believes in the tenets of the cult - but how much do their followers believe in it? Are their leaders of sects that are just using their position to disappear anyone they don't like? How would Eclipse react to learning one of their members doesn't actually believe in the cult?
Well a bunch of the followers would need to believe in it, if only because otherwise the whole deal would fall apart pretty quickly.
If a secondary leader was just abusing position to make people they dont like float off forever, Eclipse doesn't super mind (The Sky called them one way or another!) But if actual disbelief is proven or expressed hard enough they WOULD decide that member needs to detach from the ground immediately - clearly they need to know exactly why the Sky is so much better...
What's keeping Eclipse grounded so far? Do they have some goal they wanna meet before they think they're ready to embrace the sky?
Yeah they're the main head so they gotta spread the word properly, get everyone up there before they can leave. They're the only one actually cursed (from a pathfinder mechanic perspective) so they're the most qualified to show off that theres truth behind it (even if its misinterpreted by them)
How long would you say Eclipse has been at the whole cult business, and how successful have they been at spreading it?
Probably a couple years. They've been fairly good at it (A few different established camps that manage to keep a steady occupation of about a hundred pooltoys each, even with the Sky calling people pretty regularly)
It helps that A: their oracle powers/curse mimics the Sky literally pulling at them and B: They genuinely believe what they're saying.
was Erron's color scheme cyan-green before the incident, or did was it changed?
It is incredibly funny to think that they were coloured like that before The Incident and they were just doomed from the start, actually, yeah.
But no, it changed (gradually over a few months)
Berries have a trope where they get "juiced" in a "juicing room" to avoid excess buildup.
Considering they're a blimpfruit, how does Erron managed to get juiced? Where does it go? Do they even get drained or do they just restrain any growth underneath that suit for as long as possible?
Their team has a specialized machine (its a glorified spigot) that drains it into cans.
Erron absolutely gets drained, if they go more than a week they need the suit on constantly to move normally. Two weeks means if the suit is off they might start drifting off. A month usually means the suit cant hold it in anymore from how large they are.
The juice gets sold because its basically pre-carbonated soda with a helium effect on anyone who drinks it. Erron is incredibly embarassed about this part and refuses to do it themself/talk about it.
why does rat make orb
rat has inflation fetish
could tracy keep someone in their arm instead of putting them in the container? could more than one person squish in there?
Yes to both but in character wise they wouldnt particularly want someone in there for an extended period of time (the weight anomaly would feel weird)
can you give your thoughts on trying to escape a bubble, but having your body sucked against and flatten to the inner surface of the bubble, making it look like you are the bubble? if this popped, would you fall out normally?
I imagine if it popped I'd fall out normally. I more prefer the idea of getting sucked against the inner surface and trapped in a film more than being flattened to it tbh. I love flattening but for some reason becoming a bubble decal doesnt hit the same
