I live by the principle that when I start something new, I assume everyone is starting fresh with me. I make an effort to not disturb my peace and keep my distance to avoid getting too involved. However, if I find someone annoying, I simply ignore their presence. I can’t control others but I can always make decisions for myself. My peace of mind is my responsibility.
