I'd have to think about it thought. It's a complicated topic.
Not because I feel iffy about it, I'm very public about how I think people under the age of 13 shouldn't be given free internet access at all, and I do think we should be more restrictive about what people under the age of 16 do on the internet.
My problem is I'm not exactly sure what I mean by that, and who's responsibility it would be to make sure that happens.
Is it the responsibility of the parents who decide whether or not to give the child access to these things, or is it even a simple choice? Are companies at fault due to how much they market online spaces to young children?
It also comes to the case of why specifically do we need to keep kids away from the internet, and once we decide that, is there another factor that could be changed besides just taking away the internet from younger teens?
