How big or small would the different timelines of Sunrise marriages be?
they’d all be relatively small and intimate! sun doesn’t want to make a big public deal out of the romantic bond that he shares with whoever his partner will be and for the most part each timeline has his significant other agreeing.
there is a very quiet ceremony for each timeline that goes a little something like
HoshiSun: they wed in Lungmen, their closest friends and compatriots invited out to a seaside wedding (think Shek O beach near Hong Kong)
ReedSun: while they first get wedded aboard Rhodes Island’s flight deck (with friends and family present) in the interest of Reed’s safety at first, on their first anniversary Sun takes her to Victoria to have a private renewal of their vows in a quiet, heavenly chapel
KalSun: Kal’tsit doesn’t really want to deal with the theatrics of a wedding ceremony, opting instead to say her vows and have Sun say his as soon as they get engaged. this is both because she doesn’t want to deal with her personal life becoming public in any sense AND some part of her is still worried that Sun might one day disappear, despite his reassurances and his pledge to be by her side for however long of his life remains. so she wants everything said and bound now, before it’s too late, and everything else doesn’t matter.
