A'ite so, let's say hypothetically you have a dream holiday, however many weeks or months doing a dream activity/trip that you've just never had the time/money to do (but only an activity, not something like assassinating some hateful bigot and stealing all their ill-gotten wealth)
Now, imagine that for an experiment you can go on that holiday for free, but the catch is that you won't remember any of it. From when you leave your home to when you return is a complete blank in your mind, you went on the holiday and had a fantastic time, you just can't enjoy it in retrospect.
Would you still consider it worth your time? Would you still go on that holiday for free, even if you remembered none of it and couldn't bring back any trophies or pictures?
i thought i left these thought experiments behind in high school 😭😭 hmm.. if i dont remember it but the time still passed, i would've used alot of resources both staying there & getting there.. so in that context i probably wouldn't do it? if emissions were irrelevant though then I'd probably still do it 🙂 I've forgotten most of my life anyway hhjdhs so what's one more holiday lost to time hahah
