Well, its quite simple, actually..
The concept of echolocation is to see the world around them through another sense.. But in truth, it's mostly these animals looking for something.
Echo the Pikachu is a Pikachu who doesn't fully understand the world around him, and wants to look for things.. New experiences, new people, new ways of life, and more ways to protect those close to him.
Hence the name, Echo.

Ah.. Good question. Kinda hard to say, since, I do love alot of em. But, if I had to narrow it down, i'd probably say Super Mario World. There may be a hint of bias since, I did grow up with the game, but I still feel it's an amazingly crafted experience that anyone and everyone should try out once in their lives.
