I kind of see your content as an inspiration due to the nostalgia factor that Windows XP and MSN have for me. Do you actually use XP in bare metal, or in a VM? Or you took another OS and customized it to look like XP?
I can only use them in a Virtual Machine because, unfortunately and despite my efforts, I can't install it on any of my real machines.

Best OS in terms of aesthetics?
Depends. In my opinion, Windows 3.11 or 98 in Japanese for vapor, ME for Y2K, Vista for Frutiger. I don't count Linux because there are plenty of DEs for Linux and most of them can be configured in different ways to have a different appearance.
