Would you be surprised if I told you that most of JP's nvfr creators treat Furina and Focalors as different people?
I have given up on this situation and have decided to look at posts from other countries…lol
Thank you for always posting wonderful nvfr!💙🩵
Not really tbh ? It has a lot to do with some see Divine Focalors to be a "ara ara" woman to contrast with Furina and deleting Focarina since she is more like Furina than Divine Focalors. I mean, it's all up to their hcs and interpretations (which I personally think it's a shame to erase Focarina), they just happen to be CCs I don't really follow because they don't share my POV and it's fine since it's not just a JP fandom thing.
The description of both Furina's and Neuvillette's drink is similar 🫣
Underrated Neuvifuri moment is when Traveler says "you guys in Fontaine are weird" and Neuvillette replies "if by you guys you are referring to Furina and I..." 😭
I feel like Hoyo would keep Furina the only playable sole bearer of a sovereign-granted vision to make her apart from the other characters iykwim and it would make sense since she is indeed special and only deserves the best! :D
So dies that mean Furina/Neuvilette have beaten the father daughter accusations??
I like the idea that Furina could be the only Hydro character with a dragon vision
Witnessing a character getting a vision is a very very very rare sight and knowing all the Fontainians characters we know already has a vision, or in the future we might witness no more vision bestowing on screen, we might say Furina might be the sole playable to get a pneumaousia vision and I like to keep the exclusivity of that as a nvfr shipper !
"Melusines are Nvfr children" works more if you think N and F are seen as the Mother and Father of Fontaine and Melusines are now under their care as citizens. In fact even if Sigewinne herself doesn't know Furina, the Melusines in the overworld talk a lot about her
Like please, S is not the only melusine of Fontaine. There are 45 remaining (RIP Carole) but Sedene, Aevel, Aeife etc. all love F a lot and it's all right to say N and F are the Mother and Father of Fontaine and Melusines. F especially knowing her lore was a oceanid and Nereids came from a oceanid mother. It's just a silly reference but not a far fetch one.
Biblical accurate neuvifuri

The elderly sea-gods Nereus and Doris stand in the portico. He holds a sceptre and she has a cup and oinochoe jug.
"Nereus is Elynas!"
It's funny that Nereus is depicted as an old man with white hair who uses a cane. A cane and an oceanid as a partner... What an interesting coincidence.

But even more interesting is Doris, daughter of Oceanus, the progenitor of all the Oceanids.
I mean, Elynas is really the biological father of the melusine but the majority of melusines considers Neuvillette as their "perfect ideal of a father" but like they are BOTH fathers ??? Nereus clearly fits Neuvillette a lot and Doris Furina. So what if it's not biological, it's adoptive and it's sweet. hehe
About the Sigewinne constellation... This is fun. The Nereides are daughters of the "Old Man of the Sea" Nereus and the Oceanid Doris.
They had fifty daughters. And these daughters had a brother, Nerites, a minor god known to be beautiful. It sounds very fun... and familiar 😹
I love how every Hydro Vision character of Fontaine are canon sea creatures ! Leviathan, Oceanids and Nereids !! And the fact Nereides are daughters of a Oceanid and their father Elynas is a Dragon ???????? Knowing Neuvivi adopted them all ??? Oh.................... We do know they are canon daughters of our hydro duo---
do you fw modern au arlefuri? as in, an au where arle never attempted to kill her
What do you think of the pairing between perrio and the tasritsa I personally ship them
3 questions:
1) Do you think that Neuvillette had any plans at the beginning to reclaim his authority back?
2) Do you think Neuvillette is ultimately happy with the fact, that the authority got returned to him?
3) A hypothetical thing, if there is a way for the authority to be shared between two entities, with the cost being not to be able to wield the element to the fullest extent, would Neuvillette share it with Furina?
(SORRY FOR THE FACT THAT I WROTE 3 QUESTIONS IN ONE THING q.q)
Oh that's a long question but they sure are interesting...
From what we know, Neuvillette never intended to take back his authority because he has lost a lot of his memory and I guess he was more curious why he reincarnated in a human form than the other matters, that must had came back to him when he learned more about himself. But for sure, Neuvillette never intended to reclaim his authority back because he knew the sole solution to do so was to kill Furina, which is something he never questionned himself to do, even in the most dire situation. I do think he might had looked about others solutions but it just lead to the same conclusion ?
To be honest, no. He never intended to take back his authority to the price of Furina's life and his dialogue with Focalors learning everything just made him took back his authority by "force" when he didn't really wanted it back. He didn't killed Focalors but it required her sacrifice and Furina suffering for 500 years. The price of taking the authority truly affected him the most from his breakdown, the cutscene and also admitting to Traveler how... telling them the truth leave him with a horrible taste. The thing he could at least had done for them was to keep on being the Iudex and Sovereign, to continue their ideal of Justice.
Mmmh isn't what he did already with bestowing a part of his power to Furina via the Vision ? Although Furina isn't the Heart of the Primordial sea, she does hold the power of Pneumaousia and control a bit of primordial sealife to create her Salon Solitaire. I doubt authority can be shared but power yes.
Something that's been on mind why hasn't neuvillette been sus about paimon if she is possibly linked to celestia
As someone who liked the Fontaine AQ, it is true the story so far have created quite few plot holes and some obvious questions aren't being asked right now. If Albedo and Mona could somehow detect something was weird with Paimon, I'm wondering how Neuvillette so far hasn't asked any question about her origins...
Something that has been on my mind recently but can furina and focalors be in the same room?
If it's the Divinity Focalors and you talk about being in the same room "physically" then ""yes"" since Focalors seems to only use physical furnitures or whatever as a vessel (the mirror or the Oratrice) for her divinity, since the spirit and body are Furina. But Focalors won't have a physical original body, or able to touch Furina or whatever. They also can if Furina went into Focalors's consciousness like Neuvillette did but not physically this time.
