Have you played / watched a play thru of the game "Life Eater"? Explaining the plot in depth wouldn't do it justice I think but the gimmick is that you play a man who has to stalk and kill people to satisfy a god. It's got great writing and I got a hunch you'd be into it!
I HAVE NOT but the premise is very interesting and I really like the design of the main guy. that dirty trucker look is luring me in. THANK YOU FOR THE REC I WILL BE CHECKING IT OUT!

I know vintage horror movies are more your thing, but have you seen Thanksgiving? I watched it recently with some friends and really enjoyed it. Got my stomach to turn a couple times, which isn't common!
SOUNDED FAMILIAR and realized I was thinking about the short because I had no idea eli roth made ANOTHER film called thanksgiving in 2023! I will definitely check it out especially since I liked the short

SWEATS. Phantom of the opera 2004 HAHA... I think it being a musical and the setting isn't what's out of the ordinary for me I think its more the reputation it has and how I'm a ride or die for it. I rewatched it recently after years of not seeing it and its so bizarre and funny I couldnt resist enjoying it. OH and I also really like ruby sparks 2012 and Traveller 1997 which are both romcoms...BUT my excuse is they're both extremely weird and get upsetting near the end so that's my romcom pass.

What are vadim's favorite bands / artists?
Vadim's young adult hood soundtrack was early noise bands, classic 80s hits, and new wave. What would seem normal to westerners was revolutionary to him because of the strict rules in his household on upholding a nationalistic identity and the general lack of access in his small town home. For a long while all he listened to was 60s-70s russian national icons like Yelena Kamburova,Muslim Magomayev, and [Eduard Khil](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVRzVBhLsrU] simply because thats all his grandfather had and would allow under his roof.
His first introduction to music beyond that, was given to him by a neighbor boy he was infatuated with who always seemed to get his hands on imported western content ! the two albums were oingo boingos only a lad and throbbing gristles rafters . they absolutely blew his world apart, he played those tapes til they burned his cassette player...or got confiscated after he was caught listening to it alone in the chicken coop thinking surely nobody would hear !

Alot of his taste in noise was formed by some old bad influences in his life and his other taste can be blamed on the fact he's a radio enthusiast who genuinely just enjoys drinking smoking and reading the paper to it(he has a annoying habit of talking to/replying to the radio or the tv like they can actually hear him but thats unrelated)
