of all of the Remys in the vast multiverse, what percentage of them are actually still Remy? (i.e. haven't been permaswapped, permaTF'd into some other non-racc form, etc.)

slightly more existential add-on, assuming that base Remy isn't immortal, and that their other permaTFs are, does that imply that there will be a point in time where there isnt a single "normal" Remy in the multiverse? Like all the "normal" ones will be long gone while the permaTF'd objects will persist.
(if true it means that, in the big picture, the portion of time that Remy is/was conceptually a raccoon will be infinitesimally small compared to the mount of the time they were conceptually an object or rather.)

tl;dr is remy's true form really a raccoon?

All Remys exist to be tf’d, swapped and otherwise rendered stuck in some way. The base form of Remy only exists for a new timeline in which they end up in an inescapable scenario to splinter off, so I guess Remy’s true form is a raccoon, but at the same time, when there only ever seems to be one version of Remy in which they /are/ a raccoon, and when said raccoon will eventually die… who’s to say?
Perhaps Remy Margrove is not a being, but a concept. An idea. The… friends we made along the way?
