re talking about things you've already answered before in the past :

this got me thinking
yeah , we change and grow and transform and learn and experience new things and gain new insights and see things in ways we may not have before

but what are some of your opinions that have remained the same ?

for me , ha , I can happily say my thoughts on Rukia being the best character and female in Bleach
her limited content has aged well I'd say after rereading the manga countless times now - quality over quantity

can't say the same for Ichigo though
rereading the manga completely broke my nostalgic view of him - and now I have opinions on him - at least who he is overall in the later arcs post soul society - opinions that I never thought I'd ever have of him
it's been such a deflating feeling for sure

Rukia is one of the best female characters in shonen history, hands down.
Byakuya was a great antagonist and a much better ally.
Ishida is Ichigo's one true rival and inverse, Renji can eat dirt.
The Arrancar were much more interesting enemies than the Fullbringers or Sternritters.
Tensa Zangetsu > Old Man Yhwach, also turning Zangetsu into a part of Yhwach was stupid and it's only there for shock value as it serves nothing to the narrative.
Ichigo is great in a lot of ways but him not learning anything else aside from Getsuga Tensho (horn of salvation is shit, it doesn't count) and not getting to show his true bankai is an insult to his character and he deserved better.
Karin, Tatsuki, Keigo and Mizuiro should've developed powers and become part of the gang one way or the other.

Uh, I guess those are the ones I can think of right now.
