its kind of the only thing I have. it gives me a sense of purpose, so I feel motivated to continue, if I don’t I’ve got nothing. having an audience helps a lot. knowing I have expectations to meet and such. people will tell you just to do it, audience or not, but I’ll be honest and say if it wasn’t for the people reading my work and enjoying it, I probably wouldn’t be as motivated. of course not everyone can be a niche micro e-celeb, so at the very least try to get your friends invested in your stories
