Now who would be Ota in this AU? I’d think probably Mishima, even though Mishima and Pewter share an english VA, Mishima fits Ota more. Although, Ota also shares an English VA with Ango Natsume from Strikers, and both were struggling to write Light Novels
I mean, the last time we talk to Mishima he was starting his writer career. I wouldn't say he was struggling but he was writing his book about the PT, mix that with his personality and I think we have our Ota
