Elpis was difficult but she sort of knew going in that saying goodbye no matter how it ended would be hard. Ultima Thule Emet was bittersweet because he remembers her both from the past and from shb but she knows he has earned his rest, and with Hythlodaeus there he isn’t alone anymore. She just hopes that when her time comes she will be able to join them again
