Speaking of Nintendo kings, Wart from SMB2 is another good one. He was beaten by force-feeding him vegetables, so the gas material kinda writes itself. And while not actually a king, Wingo, the villain from Captain Toad, is great for the same reason. He's beaten with veggies, on top of being a fat bird you actually make fatter.
