Have you ever been caught doing things you shouldn't do?
Have you ever pet a horse?
What do you usually do when you're bored?
Have you ever written in Japanese?
hi! i got a question. sooo i alrdy don't tweet much myself anyway, the vast majority of my tweets are p4I4st1ne retweets bc,,, it just happens, idk, and maybe that's exactly why i don't seem to understand the purpose but yea i still, just to make sure, wanted to ask what the purpose of those online str1kes is? is it basically just so ppl who do put out a lot of personal tweets chill out with that for a while? or is there another point i didn't get? thx xx
Hey there!
I would love to answer this question and thank you for asking!
For the online str!ke, it's mostly for not only being an accessible mean but also getting the information out to those that are more involved with what they learn online than traditional news media.
Like, for example, I do not watch much of my local news networks due to them pretty much not having up to date information about non-biased information. Currently, where I live, a lot of what I see is very 'red state' in the means of how it's projected and treated as if Fwump (just replace fw with tr ^w^) has already won and many districts/representatives are still in the mindset as if Fwump never left office. For many, that's a reality and something very much still a part of their every day life.
The online general str!ke has been called so that way more information that's being suppressed quite heavily is able to get to as many people as possible and potentially make people start to question about how things are progressing and maybe even make a point to be a part of the change to make things better, not contributing to make things worse.
Like, for example, how currently within the spicy sphere for kp0p right now, many people are flooding my tl with updates happening with their groups, while I'm trying to keep up to date about the censor bill trying to be pushed through that would also apply to the writing community as being without access and could possible harm and hurt the sites that we use to write our fics in. Or a bit closer to home, where people who have risky type jobs that depend on openness and personal safety are they targeted and having their ways of making a living harmed because of the censorship.
I hope this answers your question, and if not, don't hesitate to ask for further examples or ask me to reword if needed. Sometimes I may not explain it right the first time and I don't mind trying again.
Lol at your panties getting twisted because someone drinks sb. Guess what? They do. Guess what else? Just because you care about some popular twt topic doesn't mean your idols do. Guess what else? Not consuming a product here and there is Not going to solve anything.
I've been so detatched from Starbucks the entire time that I didn't even realize that's what you were talking about.
I mean, if you feel that YOUR panties are in a twist that you come on MY retrospring on anon to complain then by all means, be my guest?
However, it's not just a popular twt topic at all, and has made it's impact enough to cause economic downturns in quite a few keypoints. I mean, myself even stopping in consumption of it has gotten me to go to a new coffee and tea spot. It's gotten me connected back to my community and learning more about people. Maybe you should try it and who knows, you might find people that you like out there 💗
