Omg!! Ive been wanting someone to ask this for a while!! Val is kinda like a self insert?? He’s a self insert personality wise but his looks are pretty different from mine irl =v=. And he’s kinda based off of true loves kiss/a happy ending!! I got the inspo for his eye color from the sunset at the end of Disneys Snow White!! I’ve always loved how they used to draw backgrounds in their older films 🫶🏽 And he can also be kinda based on sleeping beauty? I really like her curls and I usually keep them in mind when I draw him!!
