I have sort of a meta question, so does the mmo work like we would think mmos work and it's their characters getting TFed, or is there a VR element and the characters are getting tfed in VR? (I think that makes sense) It's all probably non-canon anyway, I'm just curious how you'd think it'd work.
Not entirely sure myself. In the initial comic where I drew Lore getting sucked into the world, it's an MMO on her desktop. I say that would be the best bet bc it could probably be worst if the Empress' reach could extend to VR. But once a player gets isekai'ed into the realm the game is based on, there's no need for VR
