Minat survei masyarakat. What would you do if you adore someone so much, but you know that they would never be yours? Despite everything they have given to you, entah itu afeksi dalam bentuk apapun?
I know I might get called as a hypocrite or even a hopeless romantic, here’s what I see.
I always think that being able to feel any kind of adoration and love is more than just a bless. To feel is something that I always be grateful for; To be able to look at someone’s eye and sense the same warmth that you’d feel whenever you step into a patch of sunlight, to be able to feel a love that feels like the embodiment of yellow in your chest. I always see it as something that I can never afford.
It would seems like hypocrisy, but life is always like walking on an unknown path, not knowing where it takes you but it still leads you somewhere. Not knowing what’s in front of you, be it sweets and laughter or even tears and thorns, but you shall also see what the side of the road offers you in between.
To be able to adore someone so much despite knowing that they will never be mine, would be wounding. But it shall led me somewhere. Be it another lesson to learn, or something that I might achieve. To know that I’ve loved is sometimes more than enough. And for the rest, I shall follow what my heart tells me to, be it to love or to leave after doing its utmost to make things work.
