Hey i really enjoy your writing and genuinely not trying to start an argument of any kind, using ai for your personal pleasure is super common. I doubt you use it every day or as much as others do, but there is several negative environmental impacts that it has which i definitely urge you to look into to if you haven’t already! Again i’m not super bothered by it or anything and don’t have the intention of coming off hostile, but there are negative impacts outside of artistic concerns surrounding ai.
What kind of negative impacts exactly? I’ve researched it before and even my professors encourage me to use it for my studies so I’m genuinely asking what negative impacts it has because the only thing I could come across was a lot of energy consumption. I’m not meaning to be hostile either but you clearly don’t agree with it either so I would like to hear your reasons.
