The Muses. The Muses rule over the Inspiration, the Memory, the Music, the Poetry, the Arts and the Sciences. They go by these names:
Thalia, Urania, Melpomene, Polyhymnia, Erato, Calliope, Clio, Euterpe, Terpsichore
But I only have personal experience with Calliope. In general they do not bother much about humans though that doesn't save you from being on their pun list. When they fill your soul and body with their light it is what makes life a joy. The reasons why they do it and why not is a damn mystery and you cannot beg steal or borrow from them. All the kings horses and all the kings men could never put a smile on my face but they can with a wink. Sometimes you can feel their presence when they roam about near sparking other people. In short they are lovely bitches and not similar to any sort of gods you might have heard from. They do not want anything from you, though they take offence as badly as anybody would.
