Do you purchase/consume shelf-stable milk? Is it popular where you live?

It is about half of the milk offer in local stores here. The other half is pasturised fresh milk that might last more than 2 weeks and there is an increasing offer of fresh milk that only lasts a week or less that is from biologically fed and cared for cows. And there is of course a vast range of vegan milk based upon almonds, soy, oats and other veggies. I do buy usually the milk of biologically cared for cows. It is more like natural milk that naturally turns into butter and cheese after a couple of days. This region here is famous for cheese and the quality of milk is accordingly very good. But as I often travel I sometimes resort to having a boxed shelf-stable milk too. Though it is less good for coffee, oats or such. Baking is ok. I know I live this as a privileged girl since many people only have white water as milk.
