Haha of course!! Thank you, it's been in progress for such a long time because I am a heavy procrastinator and ADHD makes writing REAALLY difficult to remember to do ;; But I'm doing my best and I'm getting there!! I'm happy to hear you really enjoy my interpretations of them and the way I work with them;; they're very dear to my heart, genuinely. Feel free to stick by as I progress with making and producing content regarding them!! Also feel free to keep asking stuff about them I'm just as brain rotted and I'd be happy to be able to spill my brain about them as much as I can, since I'm sure at this point with how many months it has been my friends are sick of how much I bring them up T0T

I am actually in the process of writing a fic for them that kind of shows an abstract development of their relationship during Childe's time in Meropide. From what I could tell at least canonically in the lore, Childe most likely would have spent at least 3 months in Meropide before he disappeared. My internal timeline for them would be like a mix of slow and fast development.

So it would begin with Childe serving, and only hearing of Wriothesley from inmates and the like, tales, rumors, and all of that nonsense. Only to finally meet the Duke himself, who has had some reservations about a Harbinger among his numbers but would amend to treating him just like every other inmate. I believe first impressions would stem from Childe's attempts to spar with Wriothesley, and Wriothesley (obviously) turning him down multiple times. Leaving Wriothesley to just assume that Childe was simply a strange fellow with a pension for trouble. But in moments beyond Childe's harping, they would slowly run into each other more over the early stages of Childe's sentence and be willing to chat about other topics, finding out that conversations between them flow with unexpected ease. Being able to enjoy the friendly banter, coming to strangely enjoy the air of each other's company.

It comes as a bit of a surprise to the both of them to find they'd get along so well, knowing the ways they're used to being treated and perceived by many others. They're both very intuitive people so I'd also assume they'd be capable of very quickly realizing that both of them have very situational behaviors, masks of their personalities, and avoidance when it comes to specific topics or talking about themselves. Realizing how similar they are in that manner just turns into a very natural development of closeness, that gradual increase in thinking about one another and hoping to run into each other. And then wordlessly it would develop into something deeper, without being properly addressed or discussed. Just accepting it for what it is, knowing it's complex and strained yet still wordlessly allowing it to continue because of the strange solace that their relationship would bring.

I think about how they get along frequently... and I'm currently in the process of trying to figure out how their relationship would continue from that point with the aftermath of everything especially now that I have more insight into Childe's whereabouts right after the events and what he could have done during that time. We'll just have to see what I come up with from there but hopefully, you enjoy the ideas I have of them hehe, I'm always happy to share :)

Hehe, this is so sweet omg, so sorry it took me a while to respond to this I completely forgot to check if I got any more asks ;;;; IN TERMS OF COMING UP WITH IDEAS Honestly I think music tends to be one of my biggest forms of inspiration when it comes of thinking of what to make and stuff. I'm a heavily visual thinker so the majority of my ideas come in a very visual yet kind of fuzzy way so I can only do my best to emulate those thoughts with my current skill sets,,, It's a lot of trial and error but I do my best to capture it !! The other half would be me laying awake at 2 am and thinking about like 100 different things at once and whatever train of thought I'm in has me go "I should write this down" and proceed to fish for my phone in the complete darkness and feverishly write down whatever I was thinking and hope I'll remember it's written down when I wake up KDFGKNFGK

YOU HAVE NO IDEA... I have a solid idea that Wriothesley would have a very big bone for gift-giving in terms of trying to get Childe to accept gifts to supply to his siblings probably just as much as he tries to spoil them.. oh them and their need to care for kids. But Wriothesley would attempt to do things a bit more hands-on, like make mechanical gifts himself. But it's been so long since he'd worked with mechanics so he'd probably be a bit self-conscious about it but Childe would dismiss that and accept the gifts without even a moment of hesitance, almost beyond excited to hand off the gift to his siblings in his honor.

I also think about how they would possibly nag one another for their bad habits, from the simplest ones to the heavier harmful coping mechanisms. As is the nature of self-appointed caretakers they'll simply butt heads until they reach a stalemate, realizing they'll probably never be able to get one another to quit their bad habits but at least they can comfort one another in times of need. Most of the time when you're feeling as indescribable as ever, all you need is a warm body to lean back on.

A sillier one, Wriothesley has accidentally drank moldy or expired Tea more than enough times. And I imagine that Childe would find that gross and unsanitary, even ending up in situations where he would purposely lean across the desk to check and make sure the Duke is not sipping from a cup of moldy tea. And when he is? Wriothesley has a pension so stare him dead in the eyes and down the glass like a total freak. He's a hypocrite truly, ragging on Sigewinnes milkshakes only to turn around and down a glass of moldy tea just to get on the nerves of a Harbinger who takes housecleaning and hygiene very seriously.

Perhaps I will have more to share in terms of HCs in the future but right now I NEED TO TAKE MY TATERTOTS OUT OF THE AIRFRYER.

I FELT LIKE I WAS GOING TO GET THIS QUESTION... I'm heavily ready to answer. So I believe at first I just saw a couple of other people crack-ship them and thought it was pretty silly, mostly since I loved both of them as characters and looked into it with a bit of curiosity. I thought how people perceived them was interesting to some degree (aside from some other perceptions that didn't float my boat the same) and decided to kinda sit on it myself and consider the possibilities. The more I thought about the way I perceived both of them as characters and compared those understandings, the more it spiraled out of control in my mind in the way of how scarily similar their moral compasses are and how they also contradict one another. I've heavily spoken to so many of my close friends about this but I could go on for HOURS about these complexities and that they're both extremely intricate characters who carry a facade overtop of a being that is so deeply damaged inside. One who deeply wishes to be trusted and trusts without second question unless given a reason not to, and one who won't trust and won't let himself be trusted because he's convinced himself he doesn't really deserve it... I could rip my face off! But holy shit I'd be here rambling for hours. They're both caretakers, they're both deeply built off of the experiences that crushed their livelihoods as children and carry the burdens of necessary cruelty. I love them dearly, they're both so genuinely relatable and soul-crushing yet charming individuals. I care a lot about them! With all that in mind, I realized they have so much potential dynamically speaking, albeit friends, enemies, or something a little more (and even further complex) and that's mostly what ended up with me in this situation where I pretty much am sitting on my little strange island where I'm pretty sure the inner machinations of my brain are not understandable from surface perception by other people which is why a lot of people probably wonder why I'm so adamant on this pair... hehe..
