i know its basic but do lots of studies. drawing consistently is always good but growth also comes when you study. Stylization usually comes after knowing your subject
for me i wanted to improve my anatomy and coloring so i did lots of live drawings and looked to other artists works that inspired me and picked out what things made it eye catching! finding what you want out your art gives a better sense of direction imo
