hate spotify because, for some reason, they decided it's a great idea to show the amount of listeners per region (and city!) in artists profiles, so if you listen to a nugu with like 5 monthly listeners (VERY common to nugu alert entrees should i add, ahem), you just end up doxxing yourself

oh i've heard tws and riize are very popular amongst korean gay men, especially because they pull off the whole "just some guy next door idk" concept very well (not that other groups haven't done it before them, which makes things lowkey puzzling haha. i guess the actual group named boynextdoor are a bit too on-the-nose about it), though i also suspect a lot of the voters are gay teenagers voting for their faves (which is why, i think, minors like zb1 han yujin rank high - sure there are tons of depraved hyung stans but there are also horny korean 17-year-olds who voted for someone their age).
i guess this is an official shift away from the buff manly man type (i remember wonho beng especially popular) towards the cutieful flower boy type. maybe this too is a sign it's more kids voting than adults? though i'm a woman, i remember liking skinnier ppl - both guys and girls - when i was in high school. as i got older i got to appreciate more muscle, boob, ass, etc
the boyz have always been pretty popular though, i'd say. juyeon is universally loved, across times places and genders
I think the twink has always been a thing in k-pop, because it's such an easy look to acheieve when you're fed virtually nothing

What do you think was president Yoon's goal when he enacted martial law and why did he fold so fast?
Nobody really knows except him (apparently he blindsided even his own party with this), but I think he knew the clock was ticking on his time in office due to his scandals and low popularity rating so he went the nuclear route to try and salvage his leadership. He folded because the coup didn't work so he really had no choice. Once you play every card you have and lose, what else can you do.
