Clothing-wise, where do you take inspiration from? I supose it's catalan modernist era paintings but if there's a victorian clothing store in Barcelona I need to know!!!!!!!!!
I mainly take inspiration from historical dresses I find on Pinterest or pages like Wikivictorian on Twitter. I also follow historical fashion experts like Bernadette Banner and Karolina Żebrowska to try to keep it as historically accurate as I can. I know that corsets never touched bare skin and that women wore chemises to protect their skin, but I take my liberty to remove them, playing a bit with the perversion of the setting.
As for corsets, again I take inspiration from historical ones but I also take my liberties on designing new stuff for Cèlia to make it more spicy or get inspired by steampunk ones. In the end, I want to keep the whole vibe of the era but don't want to restrict myself too much. That's also why I haven't chosen an exact year, I like to work with the 1890s and the 1900s.
As far as I know, there's no Victorian clothing store in Barcelona but if someone knows one I'd like to know too!
