- I don’t think they reunite until at least around 7-10 years later when they’re 23-26 years old.
- I don’t think anything else romantic other than the two kisses happened between them. Prior to reuniting of course… I do however think they were pressed together in that bed for body heat.
- I think Shion goes by Nezumi’s bunker every once in a while to dust and check up on things… see if he’s come back.. have a good cry …
- I hc that when they first separated Nezumi may have taken it even harder than Shion esp after the aftermath of the correctional facility. Bc Shion at least has the restructural committee to distract him, but Nezumi’s suddenly lost this huge part of his life (even tho he pretends he doesn’t care lol)
- When they do reunite I don’t see it as a big dramatic, run into each others arms type thing. I think it’s fairly calm, and awkward, and even tho they changed the trajectory of each others lives, they still have to get used to each other again
- Building off the last bullet. I have a script for a long form comic depicting their reunion that I’d love to produce this year, I’m just hoping my adhd will allow me to lol
- Despite talking a lot of shit, I don’t think Nezumi’s got any romantic experience besides Shion
- This is less of a hc and more of a personal preference, but I sometimes draw Shion w purple eyes bc that’s what he had in the novel. Altho I am a fan of long haired Nezumi vs his novel short hair.
