Do other people see you as weird?
Probably though it's for very specific things and I thankfully haven't experienced people treating me unkindly for those things. I think on some level everyone has at least a few things that are fairly odd to them in at least one form or another, honestly finding someone that is completely and verifiably "normal" in every conceivable way would feel more weird almost.
But yeah, some examples for my own case:
- the fact that I'm a trans woman is something that throws people off in my day to day, particularly in the early stages of my medical transition. It's the same thing to a lesser extent when I then also express that I'm gay on top of that (well, pan, but a lot of older people I work with don't really comprehend what that is)
- I've received questions about my sectoral heterochromia, that and being an American born abroad are always little quirks I can give that are fairly unique at least in my circumstance
- I always get people thinking back in surprise when they realize I don't swear and then they go back and have to think about it and realize they had never heard it from me lol. That and no drinking/rec drugs often sparks inquiries as to why
- The read in one language/listen to another dissonance I've explained in the past is one that also surprises folks, though I've mostly worked past that at this point
- I also used to be the absolute pickiest person I know, I still am I think but I have gotten better about trying new foods. Pizza and burgers still taste gross to me tho, as blasphemous as it is to admit :s (somehow my doc still says I'm "perfectly" healthy tho, much to my surprise...)
- I somehow ended up with natural highlights in my hair, the ends are a light brown while the roots are darker. Something to do with my estrogen dosage and how it interacted with when I lost 100 lbs last year, it was surreal lol
- The amount of time I've put into progging ultimate fights in XIV is... far from normal, lol. We're built different and, I'd argue, built incorrectly XD
