Well, yes I have had vaginoplasty performed, but I will say that isn't necessarily what makes me a woman. Gender is expression and I have always been a woman, regardless of the preconceptions society holds as to what those definitions are. The operation just removed what was a major source of my dysphoria and helped me lead a much healthier life. I still need chest feminization, but I am slowly working on arranging to have that done too.

It's worth bearing in mind that not all trans girls feel this way, there are some that are quite comfortable keeping their original equipment in that regard. They are still women, as that is their gender expression. It doesn't matter whether they actually choose to undergo those procedures or not.
