Bit of a dark and personal question, but have you ever done something a sub wanted, felt uncomfortable with it and used a safe word? If so, how do you recommend telling a sub that’s how you feel without making it awkward? Asking due to my own awkwardness recently when trying something out with a friend and not liking it.
I haven't come across this yet considering that even in RP scenarios I tend to try to talk some kinks/fetish dos and don'ts with the sub beforehand. Though I have told in detail that the stuff when I'm a sub does not align with what I like as a dom. Example: I like worship and throwing parts of my body that the sub would like but I absolutely do not like paws and paw stuff as a sub.
