At first Wily barely leaves his lab to go around Isbar to gyms and such when there's work to be done.

Later, at his lowest point, he travels around the world to collect a set of full elemental plates, intending to use them to help his Type:Null and then for himself to go off somewhere to die, since he thinks it's only a matter of time and circumstance until he becomes an evil person.

But while travelling, he learns how much good there is in the world that couldn't see just looking at data. This is meant to let him visit friend's fan regions and learn a lot from their OCs, so some of his favorites would include places like Czeraja, Ollivux, etc.

After his story when he's basically doing his best to help as many people as possible, he travels a fair bit to act as a science consultant (including to the Interpol).
