hi it's the same anon from the suwon/shadows question, thank you for answering!!! i love love love your anylisis, always:) and yeah i asked it right after the decision itself and since then things definitely became clearer. i love that suwon now have only sensible&adaptive people around him, and also the small clash between kyesook and the shadows before they left that i think symbolised exactly that difference. yay for going forward!!
Yes!! I love that Keishuk moment too! It really shows how he differs from them even though they technically come from the same faction and the power dynamic between them, Keishuk himself feeling pressured and uncomfortable with them bc of their past...We never get much with Keishuk and Suwon but little details like how Keishuk is shown panicking and feeling upset at Suwon dying soon and then so shocked and relieved/excited that Suwon accepts to retreat is so sweet...
Actually I'm still thinking about this idea of "going forward" because Suwon said that /before/ choosing to retreat. going forward for him was similar to continue on the path that will lead to his death no matter what but in his case it's okay to actually go back for once...But then you have the same idea of going forward to save the dragons with Hak and Yona so I'm not sure what this means yet.
