I made Miss Fondre to be an antagonist to other people’s OC’s when I first started drawing on Deviant Art. She’s sort of like an amalgamation of every mean corporate CEO cartoon character I remember watching growing up, mixed in with some Mean Girls and poured into a Willy Wonka mould. And as I developed her and the setting more, the need for employee’s to fill story roles and hydraulic presses was only natural. The underlings are all just office stereotypes that me and my friend Gigaderpbreak came up with together.

I originally made a lot of stretchy and melting art of just random characters, which was how I started with TF. But I have a strong desire to have context for TF situations, so I made Fondre Corp. as my own sort of “Willy Wonka Factory” setting to have basically any TF scenario I want with context, and to add some kind of story and comedy to it. And then I kind of fell in love with the characters and the setting.
