bibi can't swim and everytime there's a wave she runs back to the sand and refuses to get wet "because it's too cold" for the first few mins at arriving at the beach but she starts dipping her feet on the water and it's nice??? she fucking loves it and goes get mithra to do the same like she discovered something entirely new and he's just there munching on something, he holds their hand and they go around walking for a bit until she splashes some water on him with their feet and now hes wet so he does it back and theyre at it for a while until shes fully wet and decides to walk more and more in, mithra was holding their hand before but now she's the one doing that and doesn't want to let go and just says it's because it's nice but it's not only that she doesn't want to drown and he keeps walking with them until the water is to her chest, he goes ahead of them and he suddenly feels like something is pulling from his hand and its because shes getting underwater and he puts them back up and says he didnt realize because he's a tiny person and laughs holding them because they look funny, she also laughs but goes back to holding onto him or else she starts sinking again, he gives them a kiss while putting away from her face and then a wave comes in and now she wants to go back to the shore for real, he eats the seaweed tangled on them and uses some for cooking...he says theyre edible...bibi has her dried squid tupper. He goes for a swim after they've finished eating and comes back with so many things theyre gonna have to put in a bag, bibi stays in the sand doing little drawings and getting sunburnt, when he comes back theyre both crouching down looking at seashells and things theyre writing like "they're amazed by the biodiversity of the beach", they collect a lot of seashells as the sun goes down and bibi gets some that she thinks would make nice earrings for mithra and he gives them a huge seashell that makes sounds, if he tries to eat one on their way to the west on his broom bibi puts away his hand gently and asks him to make a stop to get him madeleines. they can share. after a few days mithra gets new earrings and hes kinda showing them off he thinks he looks good them in and bibi puts her ear on the seashell he gave him when shes a bit lonely again, it still makes weird sounds but it gives her a laugh :)
