this site closed like 2 yrs ago but then reopened

What's wrong with this place?

It's not maintained since 2016, that's what is up. We shut the site down twice (since 2014), and the reason it is still up is basically popular demand you could say.

We had apps and whatnot in development, but everything subsided eventually and was not ready. We removed the parts of the site that were prone to breaking and now you basically have a simple Q/A site, nothing more.

And if you want to use Retrospring on your phone, use the website on mobile, I optimized it for that as well, no need for an app.

when did this platform launch?

This site also imploded not too long ago. Many of us actually migrated from Retro to Kiwi.
