Youre fishing in the woods. Dont ask why, its a complicated series of events that got you there that somehow involved tax fraud. Anyways, youre in the woods, fishing, and bam you get a tug on the line. Its quite a battle to reel it in, it takes all your might, but finally you bring it to shore. Before you is a merman. Youre excited, because you know mermeat is a delicacy in Colorado and you'll make a killing. But he pleads with you he has merchildren and their mother abandoned them for a bigger sexier merman, named Herb. He promises to trade you high value pearls to set him free...but he seems a little shady and desperate. What do you do?
First of all, you’re absolutely correct in assuming I would be involved in tax fraud (especially by accident). As for your question, I would first ask him to meet Herb because I am suspicious about that name given he lives underneath water and the closest thing to a herb is algae and because I want to see the sexier merman. If he can’t show me I will call his bluff and shame him but I will return him to the water because I am nice (it’s because his top part is human and I can’t shake of the dread of killing him actually). If he does call Herb to meet me and he is in fact the shit I will trade bottoms with the merman promising to check in on the kids and go with Herb to live a sexy merperson life while the original merman struggles under capitalism instead.
