What inspired you to draw in the first place and how long you've been making art?

Been drawing for over ten years if you can believe it, I started mostly because other people were doing it and I wanted to be like them. It didn't turn out so great, but it's one of the few things I genuinely enjoy doing anymore.

Question about shark OC, is she evil? Because the drawing with blood all over her makes her look a bit evil.

Sharko is not evil (or Batta for that matter), I just use my OCs for venting a lot.

What is your set up for drawing traditionally? Like what materials do you use and books you have on hand?

I mostly draw on loose leaf or sketchbooks I made myself out of either Bond printer paper (high grade, 90gr+), Opaline, Kraft paper (Very rough brown paper bag), or cream Reprograf (my favorite of the bunch, cane sugar mulch paper, looks like recycled paper but not quite, very high quality and nice texture specially for drawing). I use all sorts of pens (ballpoints, gel ink, or cheaper fountain pens) and mostly 2mm and 0.5 pencils, color or graphite leads depending on my mood.

As for books, I keep a few on hand but mostly Lauricella's MORPHO series, Keys to Drawing by Bert Dodson, Drawing Form and Pose by TomFoxDraws, Bridgman and Hogarth stuff, the Lezhin TACO books, and a bunch of art pieces from artists I like I can copy on a whim to mix things up, also Posemaniacs . com when I feel like grinding.

Are you in love with your art? At least sometimes? Or do you just draw because it gives you power over the blank paper underneath your tools of creation? (I love my question here 😁)

All of the above, but it's a love-indifference relationship in that I art but art is indifferent to me.

Would? I drink a lot of disgusting beer because I like trying new things out and it backfires.

Do you prefer traditional,digital or a mixture of both?

I usually do both but traditional feels better to me. The tactile feedback of the pen or pencil on the paper is something I cannot replicate digitally.

Any advice when it comes to studying and getting better at art?

I'm not the greatest at it but my advice is grind a lot, skerches, studies, drawabox dot com etc. But also balance it out with for fun stuff, otherwise what's the point.

Also don't be afraid of copying a lot.

Do you have any story in mind for you OCs?

I got a few different ideas for them, yes, some slice-of-life stuff, some more action-adventure, but I'm currently thinking up a survinal horror pastiche, got a very early draft for it.
