Hello, Nirvana shill here. Have you been following the Olympics? If you have, has your country been robbed of a gold? (Or other medal). I don't follow sports much, but the New Zealand guy was robbed in triathlon.

Im not really watching the Olympics constantly, but I check on them from time to time, mostly swimming
I saw us winning a few medals so thats good ^^, but we also got robbed of some top 3 placements -_-
Regardless the very few competitions i have seen were really cool, so go Italyyy i guess :P

How was your first comm batch? Would you consider reopening them in the near future? I feel like they’d be really stressful, so I hope it wasn’t, or at the very least I hope it was manageable.
Im gonna be honest, it was kinda hard -_-*, but its mostly because I made many mistakes myself, everyone was so kind and patient with me and I really appreciated it ^^
The plan is to reopen them again around mid August! Though I will change a lot of things next time (as well as the prices, sorry) hoping to slow down the requests, because I wasnt expecting to get 15 comms in 1 MONTH, I thought I was going to get 15 comms for the summer overall, I greatly underestimated you guys 0_0
Buuut it was really fun! I dont regret anything ^^

Ooo going off of your answer for your thoughts on having Makoto back in spin-offs as a temporary/non-canon thing/just for fun, what do you think your ideal spin off story involving Makoto would be like? I also agree that spin offs should be fun and whimsy (and that's probably why I love PQ so much) so I'm super curious to hear your thoughts on a fun spin off story involving Makoto!

Okay, I will say it. One of the things I wish for most is a P3D remaster. I want them to add Reload songs and give choreographies to the tracks that are just music videos in the game. I want them to do new social link scenes and costumes to unlock. I want new voicelines and interactions. Adding new custom gameplay toggles wouldnt be bad also.
Aside from this I also wouldnt be against a P3 Tactica or Strikers ^^
Or my most wanted spin off of all, an Arena with every Persona character in it. Though the roster might be too big, so if it happens it would probably be a Tag team game (sigh)
For the story, like I have already said, I dont care about canon and what not so I would be perfectly fine with Atlus using the dream excuse again. They would probably lose their memories at the end anyway.
Buuut if you are asking for new spin offs ideas I... really dont know. They basically made a spin off for all the genres I like at this point ^^*
To cut it short, put Makoto in the game and I will be happy regardless :D

I have to ask, seeing as you have art depicting the idea, what are your thoughts on the prospect of Persona actually bringing back Yuki in some limited fashioned? It's been something of a point of debate for a long time and there's a lot of arguments for and against.
Count me among the people who firmly believes that pulling the trigger on it now (if you'll pardon the pun) is not only perfectly ok and makes sense given the framework already there for it, but P3 Reload puts in a place where it feels much more required to properly offer the cast of 3 closure that The Answer only really half does. It wouldn't do anything to take away from the ending of 3 and is a long time coming for fans of the game.

No one will agree with me on this, but I couldn't care less about spin offs being canon or not. I dont care about seeing the characters after the game, i dont care about seeing characters aging, especially after how they treated the P3 cast in AU. For me spin offs should just be fun and whimsy, a way to bring something new and refreshing to the table without disrupting what the main games did, without having to justify their existence or purpose. Does PQ have a purpose in the timeline? Do the Dancing games have a reason to exist? They dont. But despite that, they are good games, my favorite spinoffs i would say. Because they are fun.
So I would be perfectly fine with Makoto returning, because him, along with Shinji and Akechi, have the potential to add something. But I would accept it only as a temporary thing or something out of the main timeline because, even though his absence hurts me, especially in P4AU as a FG player, I know that him returning would just make less significant his sacrifice, and it would be unfair for him to get another chance when other dead characters (...so just Shinji, lets be honest Akechi is not dead) dont and will never have the chance to. It would be a disgrace to the themes of P3 and the effort the game puts to make you understand them.
Also, okay, Liz or whatever brings him back, but at this point, would it be worth it? Both in universe and as plot point? What would be the point of him returning now? When all his friends moved on and grew up, what would be his reason to be back at all? People often say to make him a Velvet attendant, but I dont think Atlus can or will ever do that, because it would make him lose his status as "silent protagonist" archetype (which Japan, the main audience, loves) and spoil P3 for new people. It would bring nothing to the story because the P3 (but obviously also the P4 and P5) cast wont be used anymore in the main games. It would be a meaningless sacrifice (ahah, get it? Sacrifice? Because-) of P3 story.
...to make it simple
-Makoto in spinoffs either non canon or as a temporary thing = okay, splendid, terrific, perfection, I NEED HIM.
-Makoto actually being canonically brought back = ugh, bleh, ugly, stupid. It ruins everything. Worst idea ever. Liz's plan should just to bring his soul to the Sea of Souls, not reviving him.

Hello! I hope your week has been going well! I just wanted to pop in to say that I love your ideas for P4AU Makoto, and was wondering, in a world where Makoto could meet the P5 cast, how would you think he'd get along with them? Do you think he'd continue to fight with the sees uniform or if he'd manifest an entirely new outfit to match the thieves?

As for P5, well, the Metaverse rules kinda force him to go along with them, since the way Persona and cognitions work is different from the Dark Hour. Shadow would probably see the evoker as a real gun so I dont think he can use it. So yeah i imagine him to have a new outfit (maybe I should design it... god i have too many ideas but no time for them-)
With the PT Im really influenced by AU fics honestly, so I see him being bestie with Futaba, playing game with her and all that and emphatizing with her in a way, being besties with Ann also because they both have a sweet tooth and go around Tokyo eating desserts, Ryuji reminding him of Junpei, being a bit creeped out by Metaverse Haru but appreciating her kind and quiet side IRL, having deep and philosophical discussions with Yusuke while getting used as a model (Yusuke would feel inspired by his love for humanity me thinks), not really connecting with Makoto but still understanding her (but he would find funny the fact they have the same name), loving petting Morgana both Metaverse and IRL form (he reminds him of the stray cat near the station) and trying to help him with his issues, he would hate Akechi just by guts (almost like a hissing cat lol), and Ren having some trust issues at the start with him (they are both listeners they dont know how to start a conversation lmao) but the Wild Card connection makes them open up with eachother more and more with time <3

Hi! I was thinking for the Reunion to just... get all the SO characters together during a fight (maybe without Liz and Labrys though) to make a parallel with the P3FES cutscene after the Seal, where SEES reunites with Makoto in front of the school :*)

Since Minato was hardly in PQ2, What would you say were some missed opportunities for either, Unison Attacks, or interactions with Persona 4 and 5 characters? For example, I feel Yosuke, Futaba and Minato could have had a "Team Headphones" themed unison.
I havent really had the chance to play PQ2 so i only watched the cutscenes-
The fact that Makoto is the VERY LAST character you unlock makes me so mad, the lack of interaction he has in that game should be considered a war crime (and it made me even hate Kotone for a while ;_;)
Yeah Makoto should have had other unison attacks! Maybe with idk... Shinji and Akechi because they, yk... :P

good morning! with the recent trailer for the answer reload (3 weeks already gruh) i wanted to ask, what're the things you want to see in this remake? and things you want not to see?

Im not watching too many trailers to not get too spoiled, my only wish is for them to not fuck up the "???" Cutscene and to balance Theurgy because the base game is easier than Royal
Im already expecting for them to just make the Answer HD without changing much, so im not really hoping for much new content outside from the Gameplay

Do you have any unpopular opinions regarding Makoto's characterization?
Not really an unpopular opinion, but I dont really see many people talking about how much the Dark Hour dilemma affects him in the movies...? (And how there 10/04 is partially his fault?)
I find to be a really interesting concept that makes him so much more complex as a character, and I wish it was explored more :) (wink wink-)
