hello! i just came across the zine recently and wanted to ask if it's still happening since there's hasn't been an update
Hi there! Thank you for checking in and we're happy you found us. This zine is still very much happening. Right now, our gems are hard at working crafting their creations for the community to enjoy. Very soon we'll release the official line up of contributors, so keep an eye out on our socials!

Your content list for what is/isn't allowed in the zine is a little confusing/misleading? You have non-SSC practices on the OK list for the Problematic section but the C in SSC is "consensual." Therefore meaning "non-consensual practices are okay" except non-con is on the banned list. Is non-con okay or not okay for the problematic section?
Hello! Thank you for bringing this to our attentions, we apologize for the confusion. To clear things up, we're removing non-ssc from the red (hard kink) section. We are not permitting non-con. Dubious consent, however, is allowed and will be listed under the red (hard kink) section. When in doubt, feel free to ask about a particular kink or sexual interaction to know if it will be permitted or not. We want to try and provide as much creative freedom to our participants as we can!

I'm looking to apply as a podfic narrator - is it ok to just send recordings of me reading fics/audiobook content? I don't have a specific posting platform yet so I don't have any experience in the actual posting element.
So excited to have you apply! Yes that is absolutely fine to submit a google drive with snippets of you reading fics/books/etc. We don't require podfic applications to submit posted material, so whatever you have is perfect.

What's a podfic? And how would it tie in with the zine?
A podfic is fandom's version of an audiobook! Fairly straightforward - a podficer will record reading a fanfic out loud and the audio file is uploaded for everyone to enjoy, whether they follow along with the written version or listen only. Within the context of the zine, podficers will narrate a fic that will also be in the zine pdf (whether it's a work they're creating on their own or teamed up with a fellow writer contributor). A fic that is written by the podficer to record will be set at the same guidelines as the writer contributor.

Are you really accepting everyone who applies? Even if they're super new and don't know how it works?
You're 100% correct! Our goal is to not only spread the NagiReoNagi love, but also to give a platform for people to learn and enjoy the zine environment. We will still review applications and send out acceptances just like other zines do, so that you're getting the full experience. But rather than that anticipation of whether you'll get in or not, you can excitedly look for our name in your inbox. Everyone deserves to experience the fun and creativity of zines!

You mention that you'll take chefs. What do you mean by that?
Yes! Chefs will create/choose a dish (or two) that they think fits NagiReoNagi and provide step by step instructions on how to make it. Maybe it's Nagi's guilty pleasure meal or what Reo cooks on their first date. The options are limitless! We also offer collaborations between chefs and artists/writers. An artist could create a work featuring the dish or a writer create a story that puts the dish in the middle of NagiReoNagi's lives! There's so much opportunity to include recipes in the zine so don't be afraid to share your love for food with us and the rest of the Blue Lock/NGRONG fans!
